. Eat a variety of Healthy Foods Every Day
    Eat whole grains, lean meats, low-fat dairy products and five servings of fruits and vegetables.

2.Increase Physical Activity
  
Try for 30 to 60 minutes on most days. You can add 10-minute sessions three times a day to reach your total. Walking, swimming, and dancing all count!

3. Eat smaller portions
   
Read food labels for serving sizes. At restaurants, split a

meal with a friend.

4. Slow & Steady is Best
  
Experts say losing one-half to two pounds a week is the

way to go.

5. Little Changes Pay Off
  
Cutting back on a can of soda a day or adding 30 minutes of activity most days help you lose 10 pounds in a year.
